Sherlyn Meets Bohol

It was not my intention to post these pictures cause this was a part of my traumatic past, but anyway since I really want to feature my trip in Bohol so there is no way but to forget about the guy who I was with. My ex and I traveled here to celebrate our 4 year anniversary ( Leap year). We were a leap year couple so I really want to spend our anniversary to somewhat really special place.  

I have purchased 2 round trip tickets from zest air  It was expensive that time because I have booked our tickets closed to our flight. Airline ticket prices vary considerably day to day, from airline to airline. Where and when you purchase your ticket also affects the price you pay. You could save money on airline tickets and find cheap flights by being a smart consumer, so you really need to plan ahead to get cheap tickets.

Sherlyn Meets Sierra Madre

We decided to go somewhere and unwind. We were stressed out from work and for once, we wanted to escape from the busy and hectic life in Manila.

I was really agitated to visit this place because I have seen multi farious of good comments about this place. I was really looking for a quaint yet respite from the city. I was really suffocated by the concrete jungle. So I was really wanting for a quick getaway. My friend and I decided to visit Sierra Madre Resort and it's nature as our destination. I woke up at a crack of dawn to pack my things. We met at Sandigan QC around 6:30 am  and jumped on a Jeep bound for cubao Ali mall for 20 minutes. We were confused about the location since I was not aware about the location. From cubao we jumped on a jeep bound for antipolo,  jeep ride for cogeo and another jeep ride for sierra madre at last! It was a beautiful sunny yet very cold Saturday as we traveled  for almost 3 hours to reach our destination, the asphalt road of Sierra Madre hills, popularly known as Pirata Haven in Tanay, Rizal. We paid 200 php for the entrance fee ( 50 php each).

Sherlyn Meets Bataan..

I promised last year that I should travel more often to enjoy my life especially that I am single. I was looking for a quick whole day trip to the beach and was asking friends  ( bloggers) on where I could go. I considered my time since this was Sunday and I have to go back work on Monday. Life is really short though, and there are so many places waiting for us to be explored. Don't ever think that you need to spend thousand of pesos just to travel, you can make it as much as affordable as possible for as long as you do your research. After 1 week of researching I  decided just to visit Bataan for my first trip this year.

These are the two most important things for me as a traveler  My net book and my SLR. ( It is more useful to bring my net book than my tablet cause I can't use broadband kit on it) Well without these things I won't be happy and complete. haha.

From Cubao, take a bus ( Mariveles- Balanga Hi-way) . It took 2 1/2 hours. Another bus ride to get in Morong bataan.  My target is only the beach. If you're a beach bunnies and tanning aficionados like me, you can have a field day in one of the many resorts that line in the shores of Bataan. Areas such as Bagac, Limay, Morong, Mariveles and Orani. I decided to be in Morong since I didn't want to take pictures with other people. I was really looking for any remote beach.  

I sat beside the drive I don't want to be lost.  So I could ask the driver too. haha!
