It's been 5 months since the last time I shared my experiences in my blog. I was very busy earning money though. Haha. I joined English Camp only last month to experience new things. As a freelancer I usually stay at home and feel bored because of my monotonous routine of work. I decided to apply as a contractual English teacher for a month to experience new things from teaching English for Korean students. Many koreans nowadays like to spend their summer in the Philippines to study English. In the English Camp, Korean student get to hear and speak English all the time while marvelling on the beautiful sight of the Philippines, and feasting on delicacies and other international food. Another great thing about it is that they don’t have to be anxious and embarrassed about speaking English to other people. Everyone can just enjoy learning English together while taking pleasure in the beautiful scenery of laguna.
Blue Palm Resort ( Calamba, Laguna)
This is how the resort looks like. The first picture was the dining area where in all the students, teachers and admin are having their meals. You could also see the pool in the second picture, cabanas/ rooms are in front of pool, Swimming pool is the best part of this Camp since I love swimming so much.
The Summer Camp for Children and Teens is for students who want to improve their English fast. This is the most popular course as it consists of an Intensive English Course in the morning, afternoon and in the evening. Morning and Afternoon classes will include a Reading, Vocabulary Class, Man to man class While grammar and speech class in the afternoon.
The afternoon lessons allow more time to focus on individual needs, students can practice and learn to communicate effectively in their social and academic lives. The English teachers present topics and themes related to the interests of the group.
This four to five week program scheduled during summer vacation is perfect for students seeking to improve their English conversation skills while learning a standard English based study program.

Outside of class, students will be in an English Environment at all times. Our outdoor activities will let you practice your English with the local people and experience the wonders of Laguna and the Philippines through guided social activities.
These programs offer a wide range of classes that may have a little or no scholastic overlap, but are taught with the purpose of broadening the student's conception and interest in many otherwise unknown areas of study.
